Barbee Farms (part of T & A Barbee Family Farm, LLC) was formed in 2008. The family has deep roots in agriculture. Barbee Farms is honored to be a North Carolina Century Farm for continuous farming of more than 100 years. Brent, family member and farm manager, is a sixth generation farmer on this farm. We graduated from a small table at the market to multiple weekly farmers’ markets, a farm stand, restaurant and grocery store business, and participation in multi-farm CSAs plus one exclusively from our farm. Our family is extremely dedicated to this farm with everyone lending a hand to better our commitment of supplying a quality and safe product.
The farm currently consists of approximately 70 acres of fresh vegetables and fruit trees. Our intent is to maintain and strengthen soil properties and viability for future generations. We are not certified organic; however, we practice many organic methods along with conventional methods. The ultimate goal is to create a line of products that have the homegrown taste while maintaining the sustainability of our farm. Our family has always consumed and preserved fruits and vegetables from our farm; therefore, food safety is a priority. We recently received GAP certification through the NC Department of Agriculture
We are two, local, farming families who came together to form Two Moons Family Farms. We raise grass feed beef, pastured non-GMO pork and chicken, and non-GMO, grain-fed Wagyu beef. Two Moons Family Farms prides itself in producing all natural meat, using non-GMO feed, with no antibiotics or added hormones

Joyce Farms was started in 1962 by Alvin Joyce and is still a family-owned business today, with Alvin’s son, Ron Joyce, and his two sons, Ryan and Stuart, at the helm. We are located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and most of our partner farms are also located in the Carolinas, Georgia, and Virginia. Joyce Farms has come a long way since the company was founded in 1962. We’ve gone from just selling chickens to raising the very best all-natural poultry, beef and game for the top chefs, artisanal butchers, and educated consumers across the U.S. How and why did that happen? We saw the need for something better.
Over the years, our knowledge of raising poultry grew. We wanted to supply the top culinary markets with the taste, texture and culinary advantages of superior birds, raised with no pesticides, animal by-products, hormones, growth stimulators or antibiotics EVER. Today we do just that. It’s what we call Naked Chicken, and it’s the finest all-natural domestic chicken for sale in America.
The more we traveled the world and learned about culinary matters, the more we realized that Americans were missing out on a rich array of culinary class poultry. Our search took us to Europe where they have been cultivating slow-growing heritage breeds for generations. We found the nest of these to bring home, reviving traditional raising methods to produce specialty poultry and game that impresses even the most discerning chefs with its quality and flavor. We call this our Heritage Poultry – chicken, French Guinea hen and pheasant of exceptional texture and taste.
